For the past few years, I have had the pleasure of attending Keith Urban every September he has been in town. The atmosphere of his concerts are far past words I can describe. The second his voice fills the mic, I honestly get goose bumps. His lyrics are unlike any other, especially because he writes them himself. What's almost better then Keith, almost, are the opening acts that have tagged along with him. It seems every band that tours with Keith blows up that year! 1st year, was Jason Aldean. At the time, I had no idea who he was. Once I heard him sing, with such a powerful voice, "
You're The Love I Wanna Be In," I knew I'd love the rest. He has become quite popular, especially this year singles like "Dirt Road Anthem", and "Tattoos on This Town".

The second year I saw Keith, Lady Antebellum had opened for him. This time, I had heard quite a few of their songs from their first album and was beyond excited to hear them live. All of these artists are 100x better live then on CD. It's like nothing else when you've heard one of your favorite bands live for the first time, its so hard to go back to listening to it on CD. If I remember correctly, they had opened with "
Love Don't Live Here Anymore". This past September, Up and Coming artist The Band Perry graced the Saddledome. This had to of been my favorite time seeing Keith. With both of them just releasing new albums it was unreal. Check any of these artists out, even if you're not a fan of country music its worth a try!

Keith Urban and Band |
I love Keith Urban! I really enjoy country music but I don’t actually listen to it that often except for him. I’ve been to two of his concerts now: one this summer, and another one when I was a lot younger. I love the way that he is so interactive with the crowd, even those we aren’t on the ground floor. I haven’t gone to very many concerts in my life but his are by far my favourite. I was on the second floor and he made his way up and came so close to us I could almost touch him. Are you going to the Lady Antebellum concert that’s coming up in March? I am so excited for them because I have just started listening to their one CD and I absolutely love it. I feel like so many people just don’t even give country music the time of day when a lot of it is well worth it. In most country songs the lyrics are very personal and relatable. I’m so glad there is someone else out there who loves country music and Keith Urban like I do!
