Big Valley Jamboree

Big Valley Jamboree is a music festival that takes places every year on August long weekend in Camrose, Alberta.  This event was first started in 1992 and has happened every year since.  It takes place on a 400-acre site and includes numerous events for four days straight.  For people coming from out of town, the area also has a large campsite.  The best part of Big Valley Jamboree that makes this event so special is the huge-name Country Music stars who perform all day and night here.  The artists who perform come from all over North America.  Some of the past performers at BVJ (Big Valley Jamboree) include Billy Currington, Keith Urban, Doc Walker, and Dierks Bentley.

At the event most artists will perform for sixty minute sets but the headliners will play for about 75 to 90 minutes.  The stage that all artists perform on is 80 by 60 feet and the area has 6000 reserved seats and 1200 VIP and corporate seats.  The event hosts an average of 25,000 people every day.  In addition to the performances there are trade shows, concessions, bull riding, workshops, a pub, beer gardens, street performers, and many more activities.

This year the artists performing at BVJ include:
